Armistice Concert To Mark 100 Years

Saturday night saw War Years Remembered making the 100 years from the guns fell silent on the western front. The Sandrunners performed their new album George m'Boy and our young volunteers read poetry that was written by Fred Blatchford in the trenches. A melody of military marches was performed by Ballyduff Silver Band and our Piper Kyle Carse played two tunes that were againg written in the trenches. The Act of Remembrance included a tribute to Neville Henshaw who landed on D Day. Our Bugler Billy Hill played The Last Post and Reveille on an original Great War Bugle. Some pictures to follow.
